So we are beginning this journey after several doctors visits and a lot of unanswered questions. This journey begins about two years ago when I began to experience abdominal pains that were very severe. At the time I thought I was having an appendicitis. I would later learn that this was a cyst that had ruptured. After going to several doctors appointments and having numerous ultrasounds I would learn that I had large ovarian cysts and endometriosis. 

Fast forward two years...I will be having surgery next week to remove the cysts and "cleaning up" the endometriosis. There is a chance that an ovary or both may be removed. So we are not sure if we will be conceiving naturally or looking for alternative methods. Apparently the best chances of becoming pregnant are right after the surgery so my husband and I were advised to IMMEDIATELY become pregnant. Luckily for us we are ready and we will see what the future holds.
